You make gift baskets sound so much more than I’d imagined, and remind me of the excitement of being a little kid again. Takes me back to designing children’s birthday gifts and parties when the guys were small – I hadn’t realized grown-ups could play too.

This is very good Beth! But I think there should also be some kind of bookmark in the basket for the book…like maybe a bookmark shaped like a magnifying glass or else one of the bookmarks that is a magnifier! Just a thought.

great ideas, Beth. I like the fact that these ideas make it easy for us that don’t do them often but would like to “take a shot” once in a while. HOw about a bottle of wine with the label covered with a printed sticker of skull and cross bones along with wine glasses?
OR do the “Cozies” bit and add tea and shortbread?

How about Claire and a Hockey Lover’s basket? I hear that the Avalanche is a big deal in the CO area. Wings fan myself. (Go Wings!) BUT raised near Pittsburgh (GO Pens!).
