Hospital deliveries have always been problematic, but with shorter stays they are even more troublesome. For that reason I suggest to my clients that we deliver to the person when they return home. If they don't agree with that, I call the hospital just before the delivery confirming that the patient is still there and reconfirming the room number. Otherwise, you may have the unhappy experience of having a basket you delivered to the nurse's station or reception desk just magically disappear.
